Fringe Photo Backdrop DIY The Royal We This Book Andy Goldsworthy Visit Wood Line

It felt like it was high time to check in with some recent goings-on from life in SF. Our party this past weekend was a ton of fun — I made a big batch of carnitas tacos, as well as veggie enchiladas and guacamole. The guys insisted on ordering the Mayweather/Pacquiao fight (was it just me or after all that hype, was it kind of anticlimactic?), and it was fun to all crowd around the TV and watch the madness.

Work life has been packed as I’m knee deep in two projects and getting ready to start two more big ones that will keep me busy through August! I plan on updating my Portfolio soon with some of the sites I’ve been working on…it’s been such a joy to see how business has grown and changed over the last year, and I couldn’t be more grateful.

Anywho, that’s what’s going on around here. What’s up with you as we head into May?

All of those trips sounds amazing. I’m looking forward to heading to the lake for the Fourth of July weekend and then Chicago a few weeks later! I love the backdrop you created. I might have to give that a try for my birthday this summer :)

So happy to see that you and your husband (and Lucy) are absolutely flourishing back in San Fran! Love the Cinco de Mayo party favors with the instax, I have one myself and may consider doing this in the future!

    Best,
    Louisa

I have The Royal We on my reading list! I’m actually hoping to make it a book club book the month I host so that I can theme the evening :)

Adding The Royal We to my reading list! My husband and I are taking a trip to Iceland at the beginning of June as a we-made-it-through-med-school/first-vacation-since-our-honeymoon/double birthday/4th anniversary celebration. Very excited for our journey around the island with its many unique landscapes, some quality time together, and many hours with my head stuck in a book! :)
