“Wait,” you are probably saying to yourself, “This month’s park picture looks exactly like last month’s.” No, your eyes do not deceive you. I had a cabbie tell me the other day that this is the worst New York winter he has seen since arriving here in 1987. So even though it’s March, there’s still snow on the ground (with more forecasted!), and the trees are quite bare. But there are signs of spring: tiny buds appearing on trees; occasional days where the sun works with all its might to bring temperatures into the 40s. Here’s hoping that next month, we’ll see some actual change in seasons in my Month Ahead photos!
I’ve been looking forward to March 2014 for a while. A good friend is getting married back in our hometown of Austin, so I’ll be heading back to ATX for the first time in an embarrassingly long time. It’s also Daylight Savings Time this month — and I, for one, can’t wait for the days to stretch a little longer. This month, Joe and I plan on finally nailing down our summer vacation plans, which always gives one something to look forward to. Cheers to the month ahead! What do you have planned?
we are going to a wedding in florida at the end of the month and are extending the trip a week. i can’t wait to get caught up on my reading and bask in the sun :)
What a miserable winter :( It’s my Birthday month so at least I have that to look forward to! PS. Just visited Austin and the Driskill is super creepy.
Love this!

I’m super excited to be escaping to FL next week for a quick 4 day getaway to see my Godmother. I need a break from this weather!
March brings me spring break so I am one happy camper! I also cannot wait for longer days!
That cabbie is right…I’ve lived in NY my whole life and never experienced anything like this. I love the cold but even I’ve had enough. Bring on the spring! Even the 40 degree temps would feel like heaven right now. Hope you have a great March :)
I’ll be attending Kansas City Fashion Week for the first time and attending my first Blogger Brunch! I’m really looking forward to daylight savings, I can always use more daylight :)
Cheers! Worst winter here in forever too.. blah! I see little Lucy up there! ; )

I’m so glad February is over, although we were hit with another snow storm last night which makes the arrival of spring seem much further away. March is one of my favorite months. I LOVE St. Patrick’s day and the first couple weekends of warmer weather when everyone is outside.
Here’s hoping this is the last we’ll see of the snow!!

A trip State-side and nailing down summer vacation plans. We have to travel in August this year and things are already booked up like crazy, eek!
Have fun thawing out in Austin!
We have a trip to Cabo planned in May for a wedding so the countdown has officially begun – and we also have a mini SF trip planned for late March! My birthday is this month along with some other family members’ so it should be a fun month!
Lots of birthdays this month. Including Kirby’s (who just commented before me). and getting my daughter ready for pre-school (yikes)! How did that happen?? Just can’t believe it’s March already.
Wow, I can’t even imagine all of that snow. And Mike and I love planning ahead for vacations – it’s always fun to look forward to new adventures!
That graphic is amazing!!!!
I love your month graphics/pics! Yeah, it’s crazy how snowy it is out there! Meanwhile, out west it’s practically summer already. Not complaining.. though I do miss the East Coast!
