Whew, what a week! Definitely one of those that simultaneously felt like it took forever to get through, while not having enough time for anything. I also had an entire conversation with a customer service representative about how Thanksgiving is two weeks away. Are you playing holiday music yet? And also: Joe and I have decided we want to get a ZipCar, drive out to a tree farm, and cut down our own tree this year. Overly ambitious as Manhattanites? Slash, is it too aggressive if we want to get our tree next weekend (yes, before Thanksgiving)?

Here are some links to keep you delighted and entertained over the weekend:

+ Heads up: Don’t forget you have until Sunday night at midnight to enter the Minted giveaway! Also don’t forget that the winning entry will only be pulled from the Rafflecopter widget, so if you left a blog comment without entering there, head back over and submit via Rafflecopter.

+ On that note: you’ll also want to stop by on Monday for ANOTHER amazing giveaway. I know, I know, I don’t normally flood the blog with them, but trust me, this one was too good to pass up. Let’s just say you’ll wanna get the lo down on this one, son.

+ My friend Erin launched her new shop, Grandiflora this week! I love her simple, clean, organic aesthetic (not to mention she’s one of the sweetest souls I’ve ever met). Check it out and see if you can spot any gift ideas for yourself or your loved ones (like this pretty bread board, mayhaps?).

+ Sale alert! Sooo many boots on sale right now at Piperlime. After the cold temps in NY this week, I realized I’m probably going to need another pair or two. I’ve got my eye on these and these.

+ And PS, J.Crew is offering another 40% off all sale items right now with code STYLETIME. Yes and yes.

+ UPDATED: Everyone should follow the story of #SFBatKid. Cutest. Thing. Ever.

+ I’m always looking for new recipes and ideas for our slow cooker, and considering our love of Mexican food, this one will be on the menu soon.

+ Really loved this list of “18 Things Everyone Should Start Making Time for Again” (great find, Grace!).

+ I’ve updated my Gift Guide pop-up shop to include some specially selected picks and the stories behind them. I’ll be updating this regularly, so check back too!

+ This post has me convinced that I really need to try (faux) leather leggings of some sort.

+ I bookmarked this recipe for those rare weekend mornings when Joe and I both wake up craving something sweet. It doesn’t happen often, but when it does, these pancakes will be perfect.

Mid-November already…how’d that happen? I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

I love Christmas Trees…especially live ones…and I would definately put it up for Thanksgiving…You get to really enjoy it…and it takes just one more thing off the holiday to do list…tree…done.

…and for sure head out and cut down your own tree…that’s part of the beauty of living in NYC…I can drive 2 hours and cut my own tree or I can walk down to the bodega and drag it home…gotta love NY.

Love that recipe for the pancakes! Oh and I picked up those rose gold salad servers yesterday. They are even more amazing in person! And I am listening to Christmas music already, too! :) Happy weekend!

Faux leather leggings look super cute, but then I get reluctant when I start to think about that Friends episode where Ross gets stuck in his leather pants! Maybe, just maybe one day I’ll be brave enough to make that purchase…

Love the link to “18 Things Everyone Should Time for Again.” For the last year, I’ve been finding every reason possible to hand write notes and letters to friends in lieu of an email. Plus, it’s given me an amazing excuse to work through my paper envy at the Paper Source.

Get the leggings! I would say get something that’s super soft, doesn’t make noise, and you won’t be disappointed!

Thanks so much for being apart of the launch yesterday. Feel free to send more reviews as you buy ;)
