I have the great fortune (or misfortune, depending on how you look at it) of living a block away from an Anthropologie. Let’s just say our apartment is fully stocked with delicious smelling candles and lots of pretty serveware. And recently, lured in by the most stunning window display, I walked out with a stack full of sweaters (including two current faves from Sparrow: a soft, cozy peachy pink one (that’s currently on sale!) and this black and white one).
But right now, I’m doubly glad to be living near an Anthro for one simple reason: I’m a HUGE fan of the company’s current Cozy Drive campaign! What is Cozy Drive? It’s a fantastic cause, a way to clean out your closet, and your ticket to discounted Anthro goods, all wrapped up in one simple step:
Right now through November 24, if you bring in a new or gently used women’s or children’s sweater to your neighborhood Anthropologie, you’ll get a $10 gift card good towards the in-store purchase of a new sweater, jacket or coat for you. All the sweaters Anthropologie collects will be donated to local shelters, including domestic abuse shelters and community centers. I checked in with my store for a few more deets, and learned that the item you donate does not have to be from Anthro. You’ll also be able to use your gift card any time through the promotion, which ends on the 24th, and this promotion is happening in both the U.S. and Canada!
As for me — I just recently did a big closet clean out (I’m both astounded and confounded by some of the items that actually made our cross country move), and there were a whole bunch of sweaters that didn’t make the cut. I can’t wait to bring them in to Anthro, share them with a great cause, and do a little shopping for moi too! Good thing I only have to haul them a block, right?
