Yay for Friday! There was so much goodness from the Internet in the last few days…below are a few of my favorites, plus some random notes from the week. Enjoy!:
+ Have you seen Grace’s cat on Instagram? This photo kept me laughing all week…
+ …as did this video from the Jimmy Kimmel show. I have to say, I’m not usually into the late night shows (with the major exception of WWHL, obviously), but this was pretty hilar.
+ In case you haven’t heard…Nordstrom’s Half Yearly Sale is on now! So much goodness that’s up to 40% off. A pretty Kate Spade bag, a Michael Kors watch, and boots that the Duchess of Cambridge would love, all at 40% off? Yes, please.
+ Be sure to stop by The Well! We’ve amped up our posting schedule and are covering a big variety of blogging topics! We’ve also released a few new cocktails recently. Ch-ch-check it out.
+ I signed up for Level 3 French! It starts in January, so I’m making a big commitment to be learning French at least through March. A lot of you asked where I’m taking classes, and it’s here. They have programs all over the US, so you can learn too!
+ Quick reader question! I started compiling a few gift ideas for the holiday season here and here, mostly as a way to keep track of ideas. My initial thought was to NOT inundate you guys with gift guide posts over the next two months (so far I’m thinking maybe two or three posts to showcase my faves) — but thoughts? Do you guys love or hate gift guides during the holiday season?
+ Speaking of gifts and things I want…this black sand hourglass. My girl Kelly just launched a new shop, Feathered, and their wares are so fabulous!
+ And, in similar news, the über talented Erin Souder is launching her home decor shop next week — I’ve seen some sneak peeks, and trust me, there’s some gorgeousness on the way!
+ Gabrielle styled and shot the most beautiful table set up, and it’s inspired my own holiday entertaining! Didn’t she do a great job?
+ She also introduced me to a fabulous blog that I know I’ll be stalking all day: Park & Cube.
+ Heads up! Next Monday and the following one too, there are going to be two AMAZING giveaways here on vmac. Hold on to your hats — you’re not going to want to miss either. Trust me on that one!

That video was great. I personally like the gift lists, I always have such a hard time shopping for guys in my family (husband, dad, brother, step-dad, father-in-law), I wish there was more females, so much easier.
Seriously! You are killing me with the sales! All I saw was MK & watch in the same line and I made a beeline for Nordstrom.
Oh, and I love the gift guides. I am really trying to keep my holiday shopping within a set budget, so gift guides really help me out.

Love the MK emerald watch! So chic! I love gift guide posts, but I find that a lot of fashion or lifestyle bloggers usually just reuse what others have listed as their faves. I’d love to see something new and fresh! :)

I personally like gift guides from bloggers who do a good job curating them — not just randomly throwing out tons of ideas, but really thinking them though — and I’m sure you’d do that like a pro :)

I personally love gift ideas. I always need help in that area and the sooner I get all my shopping done the better!
I find gift guides to be really helpful. Sometimes I get stuck in the stores that I’m used to going to and I love being introduced to new ones! P.S. Park and Cube – so elegant. I’ve been really missing London lately, so it’s the perfect fix until I can get there. Thanks for the introduction!
