Fashion week has come and gone, but there’s one trend that was everywhere — whether the streets or the runway — that I’m still thinking about and can’t get enough of: black and white! It seems like it was THE theme of fashion week this year (more evidence here, here and here). Wait, can black and white even be called a trend? It’s so classic, so timeless, and really looks good on everyone (and especially when it’s combined with crisp tailoring). I’ll be a forever fan.
In the early part of NYFW, I attended Target’s fashion show to check out their fall collection. I wasn’t really sure what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised by a lot of the clothes — and especially the black and white looks! Can you believe these three looks are from Target?:
I especially loved the black and white tuxedo pants — in fact, I recently ordered them in blue to wear to the show (thanks to Target!), but the black and white ones look great in person as well! Here’s how I’d recreate the look for a night out on the town:
