Sometimes, some days, you’re really just feeling a particular color. I was browsing around over the weekend and found myself bookmarking several red items. Maybe it’s the scorching hot temps that constantly remind me that we’re in the dead of summer, but these shades of fiery red were just doing it for me. Also doing it for me: all the sales happening right now! If discounted summer goodies weren’t enough to get me pumped, the sales indicate autumn’s impending arrival — and that’s definitely exciting.

I’ll only be excited for fall to come if we get a decent one that gives us some still-warm (70’s-level) temps for September into October! It got cold too early and for too long last year.

Love the red shorts. I saw a blogger post a little while ago about unique pairings with red – she suggested lavender or mint green. I’ve been dying to try one of those combos, but having a hard time finding what I want in the shops. maybe these shorts will be step one!
