This week I…
+ am soooo excited to be moving — for real this time! — next week. I can’t believe the day has finally come (wait…yes I can!).
+ launched a new blog design for the lovely Alison at Heart of Gold. She has so many beautiful recipes and DIYs — truly inspiring, and I’m happy to have given her a new home to feature her talents! This handmade soap? I totally want to try it!
+ broke down and snagged this bag from the Zara sale. It was too good to pass up!
+ discovered this additional list of great book recommendations for summer. So if you’re still looking for something to sink your teeth into (even after Monday’s post), here are four more options! Me? I’m about half way done with The Linchpin and like two pages into Yonahlosse. What can I say? It was a busy week.
+ literally laughed out loud when I saw this ad yesterday. Ummm…who would EVER buy this thing?
+ also laughed at way too many of these signs that you’re almost 30. Is it bad that most of these were true for me throughout my entire 20s?
+ discovered the most amazing logo and ID design pinboard. Thanks for sending this to me, Tobe!
+ found Rashi’s lovely blog and studio after she emailed me to connect here in NYC. Former Californians now living and working as freelancers in NY? Hello, new friend!
I really have nothing else to say except next Monday I will get to sleep in my own bed. After two months, I can’t ask for anything else. The end.
Thanks for putting me up with me during this (somewhat uncomfortable) transition (if one could even call it that). I’m so excited to officially start living in NYC and to share the process (specifically of the decorating variety) with you guys too!
I hope you all have a fantastic weekend! Good lord…it’s already mid-July!!
Yay for moving! We are doing the same next week – it’s stressful but exciting…hope yours goes as smoothly as possible! :)

So while the air curler looks ridiculous I do like the idea of not having to apply direct heat! Good luck with the big move!
