+ felt like quite the social butterfly. A potluck dinner with Becca, Clara, Lisa, and Hitha; breakfast with Kerry; lunch with Sara and Mackenzie; dinner with Grace — whew! So many wonderful, talented women and so much fun this week.
+ scored this statement necklace from Bauble Bar on sale — and love it! It goes with basically everything in my summer wardrobe. Speaking of Bauble Bar, later today (starting at 11am east coast time) they’re having a Solstice Sale. 15 items, all 15 bucks!
+ can’t even talk about this. Like…WTF?
+ loved Meg’s advice on falling asleep. I sure could use these tips some nights!
+ shared some behind the scenes stories, lessons and advice about wedding makeup over on makeup.com. Wow, I can’t believe our wedding was already well over 7 months ago!
+ added some new photo albums to my Facebook page. I’m going to start collecting and posting archived content there — it’s a great way to easily catch up on what you might’ve missed here on the blog! I hope you like this feature as much as I do (I’m kind of enjoying going through old content!). You can follow along here.
+ kind of want to go out and buy popsicle molds just to try this recipe I saw on Pinterest. Roasted strawberries? With coconut? Mmmm…sign me up!
Welp, all I can say is THREE WEEKS until we get our stuff out of storage and move in to our new place. I finally was able to get confirmation this week that renovations are on track and (fingers, toes, and eyes crossed) there shouldn’t be any other hold ups. We’re in the home stretch, people.
What is everyone up to this weekend? Last Saturday, we took a 3.5 mile walk around Central Park, and all of us (Lucy included!) loved it so much that we’re doing it again this weekend — this time with a picnic and cool coat for the pup in hand (poor little thing loves her adventures, but gets so hot). We also desperately need to catch up on our stories on HBO, so I have a feeling we might be hermitting a little come Sunday. I know what happens in it, but still have not seen the Red Wedding episode of Game of Thrones. This needs to be rectified, obviously.

yeah can’t believe they went with north west. soooo dumb. a nice long walk sounds awesome! i have two pugs so they aren’t very into getting hot either, so maybe i’ll have to look for a nice cool trail.

Haha yea there’s already jokes about tht poor child! I saw a tweet that said at least she’s got her stripper name all picked out- North Pole! Lol terrible! And I love the necklace!
