This week I…
+ adored catching up on Anthony Bourdain’s new show, Parts Unknown. Were you a fan of No Reservations and The Layover? You will love this. Holy crap his production crew knows how to make some amazing TV.
+ really enjoyed this post from Nichole about perspective in relationship. It’s something I’m trying to work on in my own relationship more. Some days it works, some days not, but either way, Nichole’s point is always a great one to keep in mind.
+ am absolutely coveting this shirt. Those colors! It’s just so gorgeous (and such a statement).
+ am considering trying Sarah’s shampoo-free routine. Mostly because washing and styling my hair is a 1.5+ hour time suck and the bane of my existence. Could you ever do something like this? Based on the comments, it sounds like it works for a lot of ladies!
+ moved out of our third and final San Francisco apartment yesterday. I can’t believe how much trash we had considering we just moved 10 months ago. Where did all the junk come from?! And why did we have three Comcast remote controls sitting in a box under our TV?
+ loved supporting the Reclamation Etchworks kickstarter. Don’t forget to donate to score your set of etched bottles, and help a new small biz!
We’re flying to New York on Saturday night on a red eye flight that will get us in early Sunday morning. Joe starts his new job Monday, and we still don’t have an apartment (I can’t even talk about it — it’s a long story that I’ll tell once we actually have a place nailed down). Even with all the chaos, I’m so excited to be starting this new chapter, though saying goodbye to SF has certainly been a little bittersweet. Still though, there’s nothing but good things ahead…and I can’t wait to see what happens starting this Sunday.
In the meantime, have a fantastic weekend!
