Style to Inspire: KAYU

When Jamie Lim sent me an email introducing me to KAYU, her line of artisanal, handcrafted accessories, I knew two things: 1) I was in major lust with basically all of the pieces, and 2) I had to learn more about her! The concept of KAYU is simple: keep traditional craftsmanship and techniques alive, but in a modern, unique way. The results are one-of-a-kind bags and clutches (how major is this geometric shell clutch, or the color green on this agate embellished pretty?) that will be your go-tos in spring and summer.

Like me, Jamie is currently living in the Bay Area, so I loved hearing a little bit about her design process and how she got started in the accessories business. Here’s her story:

What a great introduction! I love her, and her awesome products. Her Bulgari ring is spectacular, and that restaurant in Paris, un believable! Ive been to that gallery, but a glass box on top? How cool.

Her pieces are very beautiful! I especially love the gold purse as well as the pink one.
