I’ve had this look pinned for a while, and it caught my eye again the other day. Something about it has always made me do a double take — maybe the unexpected mix of colors, or the drape of the clothing on this lovely gal? I also have a pair of pants in a very similar color to these, so I probably secretly want to pull something like this off. This particular Stella McCartney top reminds me of a tee that J.Crew has this fall, so I thought I’d look around to see if I could recreate the look in full. What do you think?

I really like that combo! And you’re right, I’d never have thought of it before, yet somehow it just works. It’s like the navy is just as neutral as black might be… or something. Whatever, I think you should totally rock it. If it ain’t broke, wear it. Right?
I guess navy + orange has always been a good combo, so why not throw some green in there, too?
