The Man Behind designstILes

Irene and I have been blogging buddies for a while now. I think she might’ve written the first guest post to ever appear on vmac+cheese. Cah-razy, right? Last year, Irene and her sweet-as-pie husband Evan came to SF for a quick weekend visit. If the hour or two I spent chatting with Evan didn’t cement him in my mind as a great guy (it did), then his answer to the first question in today’s Man Behind the Blog questionnaire cinched it. It’s going to be another aww-inducing moment, y’all. Learn all about Mr. designstILes, right over here.

This is one of my all time favorite series. So funny to see the perspective of the man behind the blog. My favorite is when her hubby has to go into her blog and fix something… I’ve def done that will my hubby and it is so funny trying to walk him through step by step in photoshop!

Yay! You used the pic I took of Irene’s family! I love Evan almost as much as I love Irene. He could teach my husband a thing or two about undying support when it comes to blogging. Evan, this means we’ll have to hang out regularly so James can learn from your example :)

ok, for real. i knew TH was awesome from how cute Irene writes about him, but he’s even better. PS – I used to this TH stood for TOWNHOUSE. HA!

Moment I loved most – he refers to Irene’s “stile” – and uses her branding. THE BEST.

My husband and I met Irene and Evan in Peru. We had a great time with them and over lunch and it must have been 4 hours long or more. Evan and my husband even became Facebook friends. It’s awesome getting to meet other bloggers. It’s too bad I never contacted you on my trips to SF when we lived in Monterey. At that point, I thought something like that would just seem kind of creepy. Live and learn right.

What a great guy!!! You can tell he’s so supportive of Irene. And his idea of a blog reminding of a fireside chat…hehe. I love this column.

Almost every time I visit designstILes I leave thinking 1. Irene is one of the funniest bloggers out there and I heart her. and 2. TH might just be the sweetest, most supportive husband out there. What a great couple these two make!
