London Calling

One | Two | Three | Four

Without fail, about this time every summer, I start itching for fall. Maybe it’s because most of the country is roasting while SF is still in the 50s and 60s. Maybe it’s because the Fourth is over. Most likely, it’s because fall lines start appearing in stores, and I begin lusting over coats and boots and rich, warm colors. In any case, with the London Olympics just around the corner, today seemed like a perfect time to ogle a few Burberry pre-fall and Fall goodies.

Nothing here is affordable, let’s be real. But we can daydream about these beauties the same way we can daydream we’re best friends with the Duchess of Cambridge. Or is that just me?

In other news, I can’t even BELIEVE it’s almost time for the summer Olympics again! I can remember when London was announced as the host city for 2012 — I was at my first college internship and saw the announcement on the news. My how time flies! I’m convinced that my Olympics viewing experience will be one thousand percent better than it’s ever been in my entire life because of the invention of this little thing called DVR. How amazing is it that you can record all your fave events and watch whenever? I’m a total girl and adore watching both men’s and women’s gymnastics…but I’m also a big fan of diving events, and even a little beach volleyball here and there. Which is decidedly NOT English and so NOT Burberry. And I kind of love that beach volleyball and Burberry ended up as topics in the same random post.

Any events you insist on watching? Any Burberry items on your lust list? (A trench is STILL on mine!)

I was browsing Burberry’s trenches on their site the other day and I’m just going to get over it and get one this fall. They are always the best ones I see. I’m looking forward to the Olympics, too! Swimming gymnastics and track are my faves… Have a good day!

The owl jumper makes me so happy. Super budget unfriendly and not particularly timeless, but I am itching to buy it!

I feel the same way Victoria. Living in San Diego (which is nice and all) but I miss the seasons. I miss those rich colors and boots and gorgeous coats.
