The Missing Link

1. J.Crew Double-strand resin link frog necklace, $128 | 2. Bauble Bar Crayola Links Necklace, $26 | 3. Tory Burch Oval Link Necklace, $195 | 4. Bauble Bar Violet Bella Links Necklace, $78 |  5. Michael Kors Link Necklace, $175 | 6. Kenneth Jay Lane Pearlized White Link Necklace, $80 | 7. Andrew Hamilton Crawford Tone Toned Link Necklace, $198 | 8. Bellissima Light Horn Flat Link Necklace, $85

It’s no secret that I have a big thing for statement jewelry, so I’ve been loving the recent trend of bold chain link necklaces. Because the links can be made out of so many different types of materials, you’re sure to find something that fits within your budget (hint: basic plastic link necklaces are definitely the least expensive, and often the most colorful!). You can also get crafty and make your own version — check out Grace’s DIY tutorial from Glitter Guide!

Still, I’ll confess that I’m completely coveting #6, the Kenneth Jay Lane beauty (this necklace comes in a variety of colors; the jade green is so so gorgeous!)

Do you like the link necklace trend? Which one of these would you take home with you?

I have been eyeing these big link necklaces for a while, but don’t know if I can pull it off. Maybe I should not overthink it and just buy one?!

Love them, but I don’t think I’m a statement jewelry girl. Unless it’s earrings. Earrings, I get down with.

I love these neon links. H&M had a necklace on the cheap that looked much more expensive and sartorial for only $12.99. I am loving the idea that costume jewelry can be fun and not based on “the precious metals.”

Is it wrong that I’d like one of each? I have two link pieces in my boutique and adding two more in a couple weeks! But of course that Bauble Bar number might be too fun to pass up :)

Oh man, I had a chain link necklace years ago. It was cheapo and one of the links broke. I’ll have to get me another.
