Let’s talk about how amazing this weekend was. Because honestly?? I did NOT want it to end. The weather in SF was un-freaking-believable. 70s. Sunny. Not a cloud in the sky (evidence above!). Here’s what my weekend looked like:
1 — A Saturday afternoon stroll along the Embarcadero. We stopped for wine and snacks on the patio at Epic, and walked all the way down to the ballpark. It was too warm and lovely not to!
2 — Earlier in the day, I finally made it to The Brixton for brunch. We scored a prime seat, right next to the patio doors, so we could easily people watch but not feel like we were eating on the sidewalk. Had the best fried chicken salad ever (I went big). Joe had two Bloody Mary’s (he went very big).
3 — Even earlier, we’d started off our Saturday with a late morning stroll on Union Street. I can never resist snapping pictures of the gorgeous pillows in the windows of Krimsa. It always makes me want to get all new throw pillows for our entire house!
4 — Something about this sign always gets me. Walking around downtown you’re bound to get some typography inspiration.
5 — I was very amused by this interpretation of my name. Only at Starbucks.
6 — The sunset made the Bay Bridge look almost golden. Pure magic. The phone could not come close to capturing the color.
7 — But it did accurately capture how beautiful the sky looked in the late afternoon. Beautiful cerulean!
In true SF fashion, today it’s extremely foggy and and 47 degrees. Oh, and there was an earthquake this morning that shook the windows and jolted me awake at 5:30am. Hello, Monday! I don’t care what anyone says, after 9 years, I’m still not used to them!
Mmmm. I want to be at the Pier on a beautiful SF day!
They mess up your name too?! Thank goodness, thought it was just mine. Somehow mine always gets translated into Brandon… yikes. Looks like the perfect weekend! I’m visiting San Fran next week for the first time actually and this makes me can’t wait! Unfortunately I’m just going for the first and last day of our vacation since we are driving out to Napa for most of it but let me know if there are anything I can’t miss during my short time in SF!
I want to go back to Cali so badly.
Hahah!! I’m going to start calling you. “Victory”! SF is beautiful and hopefully one day I can visit!!!! Glad you had a great weekend! xoxoo Elizabeth
Ahhh sounds amazing!! That’s hysterical. I get Chris a lot, or sometimes Trace. Nothing will be better than Grace Catwood, though!
It does sound like a perfect weekend, though!!!
I’m in the Bay Area too and it really was a gorgeous weekend. Plus, the earthquake this morning was the perfect alarm clock, if not a tad bit early!
Great pix!
Love the starbucks cup! I get “Victory” on by mistake ALL the time. When I order things over the phone, I always have to repeat my name multiple times, and it usually ends up as Victory (I order way too much takeout).
xoxo
Awesome. I love the photos. I love SF. I would move there in a heartbeat.

I used to pinch myself every morning when I walked my dog around the Palace of Fine Arts (I lived a few blocks away for almost 5 years). There is nothing like a sunny day in SF. I miss it so.
So totally jealous. Looks like the perfect weekend. I am convinced I am a CA girl at heart stuck in the midwest…. not looking like I will ever make it out there.
I think I’ve needed to pinch myself every single day since I have moved to the Bay Area. Aren’t we lucky!? I have never, ever looked back. Beautiful photos!
I am so excited to finally visit S.F next week!! Still can’t believe I’ve liver in Cali for over four years and never made it up north…Can’t wait!

This makes my heart sing. There is nothing like Spring in a beautiful city. I MUST make it to San Fran soon.
GORGEOUS! can I just say my Indiana weekend was cold, grey, and filled with various forms of precipitation?! Lucky duck :)
so jealous you live there. Sounds like a great weekend. xox
Oh how I miss living near SF! Looks like you had a great weekend!
I love seeing other sf residents pics of the city. We truly live in one of the most gorgeous places and last weekend was no exception. Sf is such a dining, shopping, sight seeing city even for us locals :) Love it!
Gorgeous photos of SF! I’ve got to get back there soon!
