Have you heard of the Maison & Objet trade show, which takes place in Paris? I hadn’t until a friend forwarded me Gwyneth’s latest GOOP newsletter, highlighting her visit to the event. It seems like it would be the most fun, tiring, but inspiring day ever.
Gwyneth spent the day roaming the ginormous exhibition center at M&O with her new buyer Sarah. I would like to know how one gets that gig. Shopping with Gwyneth Paltrow for the day at a huge interiors trade show outside of Paris. Sign me up.

Astier de Villatte of course has a booth there, complete with their line of candles and gorgeous ceramics. Want, want, want.
How fun are these poufs?? They’re not the typical shape and color of pouf you see everywhere these days, and I kind of like that.
These last two shots are from the M&O website. Who wants to plan a trip? The next show is in September!

Ok, so I also just recently become a GOOP reader, I’ve heard of it before and knew it was Gwyneth’s blog but I only started reading it after a client of mind was mentioned on it. It’s actually a really fun read! BTW- I would totally go to Paris for the M&O show…can’t think of a better excuse to go to Paris, it’s for work!

Love GOOP! It’s a great way to have a little bit on insight into what’s what in an exotic city, new tips and tricks and of course a look into the M&O show!!! I recommend subscribing to GOOP!
I used to read Goop a lot then I got bored. However Maison Objet show is anything but boring. We were there last Jan and had a ball (not my feet though so much, they were about to fall off from the amount of walking) It made the U.S. shows look kind of sad in a way as this one was so huge for starters but very innovaitve and being in France on the cutting edge of whats new, hot and beautiful!
It was loads of fun and i hope to get back there!!

I’m dyeing to go to Maison et Objet. My co-workers in London go… and I’m trying to get them to send me to the next show! If I end up going I’ll let you know.
Ah! A bit embarrassed as I just spelled dying wrong! I’m thinking of dyeing some sheets that I don’t like the color of and think that was on my mind!

You read my mind…I thought this was awesome as well and I highly recommend the newsletter!! It’s so fun and there are a lot of good restaurant, shopping and hotel recommendations.

OK, I’m so not into GOOP but I think I should be. I love these photos…. those poufs are awesome, because like you said, they’re not the same ones seen EVERYWHERE.
GOOP has gotten a little dull for me in recent issues, but I absolutely loved the latest! I fell in love with Potomak plates and everything from Sol + Luna.
Gosh only Gwynnie could pull off looking so damn fabulous in converse, jeans, and messy hair. Not. Fair. Goal in life: to be more like her.
