Behind the Scenes with Schue Love

Good morning, everyone! For today’s BTS, I’m happy to introduce Natasha from the blog Schue Love. Despite being a gorgeous gal who is super down to earth, I envy Natasha for living in one of the most beautiful parts of the country — Lake Tahoe! On Natasha’s blog, you’ll find a great mix of recipes, style posts, and peeks into her home and everyday life. And, with a big announcement she shared this week, I suspect we’ll be hearing a lot more about family life very soon! (Huge congrats, Natasha!)

I’m Natasha…I’m 27 {28 on the day after Christmas!} and I live in South Lake Tahoe, CA.

There are so many places I want to see in my lifetime…1. France is top of the list-specifically Paris and Monet’s Garden.  There is so much rich history & culture there…and of course great food and fashion.  2. New York City during Christmas is another spot I can’t wait to get to.  3. Alaska to see the humpbacks and orca whales.  4. Italy for more culture and good food.  5. Last Bora Bora to sleep over water.

I’m embarrassed to say that I haven’t read the Harry Potter books yet…I have them, just haven’t read them yet!  Shameful I know!  Next would be the Hunger Games…something about an impending move premier gets me motivated to read!  Bethenny Frankel’s A Place of Yes…I started reading this book and haven’t gotten back to it, but intend to finish it soon!  Any of Jane Austen’s books…I was an English major and want to return to my roots.

In 5 years, I plan to have started our own little family…live in a bigger home, which is equipped with a laundry room {not closet}, home office, and walk in closet…and continue on with my blog in ways I’m sure I don’t even know about now.

Traveling more…especially after reflecting on the places I want to visit.  It’s all about making it a priority and planning accordingly.

Becoming more influential in the blog world. I’ve learned so much so quickly in blogland and want to make a difference in return. If I can inspire even one person, then I know it’s all worth it!

I want to own a home in Southern CA one day. My family and friends still live there {in Newport Beach where I grew up} so I dream about having the luxury of traveling there on a regular basis and connecting with my family and friends more often.

Schue is my married name, but it also has a fun literal meaning so I thought it was a perfect take on my lifestyle blog…which touches on fashion, food, decor and much more.  My very first blog was on…shoes!

My long time friend/mentor/sister/confident Amy is my constant inspiration. I’ve grown up watching her become such an amazing wife, mother, stylist, talent and more…she has an incredible jewelry collection and her house is to do for. I inspire to model my life after hers.

My marriage…we’ve been married two and half years, but have been together for nine years. He’s my best friend and constant support. I can’t wait for decades and decades of marriage to come!

Lake Michigan at my grandparent’s house. It exemplifies rest, relaxation and inspiration.  I’ll always cherish the summers spend there and can’t wait to take our children there in the summers to come.

When I moved to Tahoe, I worried that I would lose my perspective on style and decor.  Living in a smaller town has many advantages, but being away from the city is hard. So I have found that I can keep my creative juices flowing on my blog and I am constantly inspired by other bloggers and their amazing ideas. Because of all of you…I mean it! If it weren’t for the constant love and support I garnish from my readers, there is no doubt that I would have lost motivation. So thank you for reading and keeping me inspired!

And thank you to Victoria for having me today!  It was such a honor!
