Going Green

1. Marc by Marc Jacobs green silk blouse, $358 | 2. J. Crew Cafe Capri, $79.50 | 3. TOPSHOP metal edge bangle, $25 | 4. J.Crew Talitha blouse, $110 | 5. DKNY stretch silk-crepe dress, $345 | 6. Mango chino trousers, $59.50 | 7. Kendra Scott Sarah bracelet, $64 | 8. ASOS rope tube tassel necklace, $27.27 | 9. ASOS Oasis silk blouse, $99.99

I’m loving the various shades of green that are so popular right now on everything from blouses to dresses to jewelry to even paper goods! It’s the perfect year round shade, and I think it can look good on everybody. It’s just so versatile! Currently inspiring me: Alaina recently paired her green skinnies with a magenta pink top (and it’s even inspired her gift wrap). A darker shade of green looks phenomenal on trousers, as Blair demonstrated earlier this fall.

As for me? My favorite green items include a 3/4 length sleeve cardigan from J.Crew (similar in shape to this one), a green and white sailor stripe wool sweater (also J.Crew, similar, though not green, here), and a bold statement necklace from Anthropologie, as seen here. Have you gone green? What green pieces have you added to your wardrobe?

Fabulous post Victoria! Ever since I can remember, green has been my favorite color (kinda funny that my last name is now Green…I knew he was a keeper! :-) )
I am in love with your choices…and may have to add that ASOS necklace to my jewelry box. Such a fun design…

I love green! Especially hunter green. I got a great silky green Zara blouse recently that I’m loving, and I ADORE this j. crew toggle coat:

That J Crew top and Kendra Scott piece are the perfect shades of green in my opinion. Really weird but never wore green because of my red hair (auto christmas tree!) however realizing that the right shade can be beautiful.
