Though the first stop in our trip is Santa Barbara, I’m eager to get out to the desert and check out the Viceroy in Palm Springs. We’ll be staying there for three nights and I couldn’t be more excited! This will sound really lame, but the first time I heard about this hotel was when Audrina and Justin Bobby stayed there during one season of The Hills, and I remember thinking, “WOW. The design of this hotel is FANTASTIC.” I’ve wanted to stay there ever since!
Built as a series of bungalows in the 1930s, the Viceroy Palm Springs was completely re-decorated by Kelly Wearstler in recent years. The hotels’ style is classic Hollywood Regency, and I think it’s perfect for a desert getaway.
Gorgeous, isn’t it? I love the cherry splashes of yellow throughout the entire property (how fun are those pool loungers!), as well as the whimsical touches like marble busts and greyhound statues that are so distinctly Wearstler.

Have a great time at the PS Viceroy! Sit outside on on one of the big lounge beds and order yourself cocktails. Citron also has a good brunch and it’s nice to sit out in the cabanas.

Place is gorgeous. Never stayed but did have dinner there by the pool and Evan dropped his wedding ring in the pool. doh!
