The Tuileries Girls

via National Geographic

I love saving street style pictures for inspiration, and one of my favorite settings to see women photographed in is the Jardin des Tuileries in Paris. You know a Tuileries picture when you see it. The statues, the large round fountain, “the wall,” and of course, the unmistakable dusting of chalk on the (very well) heeled feet of the style makers cutting through the gardens. The Tuileries has long been a gathering place for all types of people. Whether you while away the afternoon lounging in one of the garden’s iconic green chairs, or simply choose it as a more scenic route in making your way to the Champs Élysées, one thing’s for sure — it’s bound to inspire.

And the above look, which is my fave. So easy to recreate! A pair of worn-in, straight legged jeans (I have a pair like these that I love), an oversized sweater (maybe even borrow one from a man in your life), simple shoes, chic hair, and a clutch that injects a splash of color. Perfect.

Eep, I love these too! This just got me even more excited for Paris… I am going to make my boyfriend take some outfit snaps (he hates taking them… but the opportunity will just be too good!) xo

Totally agree! What a backdrop, and adore that last photo, too. A bold necklace makes anything smokin. Oh and the photo with the white clutch? (i have a white accessories obsession).

I’m having major wanderlust at the mo with these pics! Lovely.

I had scheduled a Paris FW street style post for tomorrow but thankfully I’m not using any of the same photos! I can’t get enough of it though and hopefully our readers can’t either.

Also sending you an email in a bit…. ;o)

The Paris street style photos are easily my favorite from all of the fashion weeks and even top many of the shows themselves. I adore that last image and immediately re-pinned when you pinned it the other day! It makes me wish that my day job allowed casual, but chic, adorable outfits like that. Hope you had a fantastic weekend Victoria!

Hey you, I’m trying to comment again without the Gravatar icon, let’s see if it works!

I just wrote that I can’t get enough of FW street style and hopefully our readers don’t either because I have a post scheduled this week too. Parisian women in general seem to really know their stuff. Loving their attention to delicate detail!
