LA Weekend

Later this evening, I’m headed down to LA for the weekend for some much needed one on one time with my friend Susannah. The big plan for the weekend is to spend the day tomorrow in Venice, doing some shopping, enjoying the sun (I hope!), then diving in to the food at Gjelina. I’m also really excited to check out a little shop called Strange Invisible Perfumes, which I first learned about on Taigan and makes all-natural, organic, non-synthetic perfumes. I can’t wait to check out their fragrance bar and mix and match and see what we can come up with. So fun!

Oh! I forgot to mention this week that the very sweet Julie from Julip Made sent a Stylish Blogger Award my way. Thank you for thinking of me, Julie!! I also got this from Kelly and Sara a few months back (you guys are so nice); you can see that post here. All of my 7 things are still true.

I feel like it’s been a bit of an ‘off’ week here on the blog, probably because the three-day weekend threw everything off kilter (I’ll admit, last weekend blogging was kind of the last thing from my mind!). I think this weekend in LA is just the ticket for a bit of inspiration.

Anyone have any fun plans this first weekend of June?
