Obsessed: The Illustrations of Tadahiro Uesugi

Yesterday while doing a browse for what’s new on Pinterest, I discovered the above image and was instantly smitten.

I love everything about it — the use of color, the lines, the light, the whimsy. It is honestly rare that I come across art work or illustrations that I absolutely want to buy and would have no problem looking at for a long time. But that’s exactly how I felt when I saw this little image (maybe because in many ways, it reminds me of our trip to Paris this last summer).

The pin noted that it was by Tadahiro Uesugi, and following the click through link, I stumbled upon a whole gallery of his works. Can we say ADORE?

Uesugi has done quite a bit of commercial work for glossies like Vogue and Cosmopolitan. Do you recognize his style? What do you think of his artwork?
