Though the Indian summer has arrived in San Francisco with its characteristic October heat, I still sense fall in the air. The color of the light is different. The sunrises are more spectacular (and happening later in the morning, so I’m awake to see them). This morning I got ready while looking out at a sky of tangerine orange, streaked with burning magenta and bits of pure gold; an autumnal palate for sure.
I’m on my own this weekend, and I’m looking forward to running some errands, getting the house spic and span, throwing open the windows and reveling in that gorgeous, yellow fall light.
I love this time of year.
