You know how sometimes, you see certain pieces of art and they just speak to you? You think, “Yes. That. I get it. And I want it!” That’s how Patricia Vargas’s work has always been for me. I’ve written about Parima Studio before, and am no less in love with it now! If you’re not familiar with her studio, Patricia specializes in creating bright, colorful pieces, from the abstract to the floral, and takes on custom commissions too.

But now, she’s really outdone herself — inspired by a trip to the Rose Story Farm in Carpinteria, CA (um, can you imagine how good this place must have smelled?), Patricia painted 6 original works based off the gorgeous blooms she encountered, which are now available as prints. When she first sent me images of her new Rose Collection, I couldn’t believe they weren’t photos. Aren’t they incredible? I love how she’s captured the beauty, romance and sensuality of roses. These pieces are the height of femininity! Roses have always held a special place in my heart — my grandmother has incredible rose beds at her home in Houston (which I used to help her tend), and these days, I consider the white rose something of a signature flower. Of course I fell in love with the collection! You can purchase the prints from her studio in two sizes (8″x10″ or 16″x20″), and also order them borderless or with a border for matting.

The news gets even better: to celebrate her newest collection and to help support one of my favorite artists, I’m partnering with Patricia today to give one lucky reader a $250 credit to her studio, Parima Studio! Use it on art prints for your gallery wall, or get a little something for a friend! In addition to the giveaway, Patricia has generously offered 15% off all prints in her shop, with the code PSROSE15! Read on for more details on the discount and how to enter the giveaway:
