It’s Little Luxuries — holiday style! And with a special focus on stocking stuffers, because they’re one of my favorite parts of the whole holiday gifting tradition. Growing up, my grandmother would always stuff our stockings with lottery tickets and little candies. But every now and again, something really fun and unique would get slipped in too (one year I got a Kriss Kross casette tape. Wait, does that age me?). Inevitably, I’d always forget to “open” my stocking until well after tree presents had been opened and breakfast had been eaten, so it was like the best extra surprise gift ever. Nowadays, I tend to stuff Joe’s with his favorite candies (Haribo gummy bears and wintergreen Tic Tacs…I know, so random), but like my grandmother, will sometimes slip something fun and surprising in too. It’s tough though — I think he’s the hardest person ever to shop for!

All of these items would make great stocking stuffers, Secret Santa gifts, or regular ol’ under-the-tree gifts too. I spent way too much time getting this thing formatted so you can click directly on the image to shop too. Hallelujah! Enjoy it. :)

What types of things do your friends and family exchange in stockings?

  8. What a great list!

And Santa always put an orange at the toe of our stockings– then we’d make fresh juice with them after opening gifts.

I love this gift guide! I too am a big fan of stocking stuffers and am always looking for great ideas that aren’t too expensive! Our stockings are typically candy/small edible items with the occasional surprise gadget or piece of jewelry. These are all awesome ideas!

  13. Those sunnies are so awesome. I’m not sure how they didn’t end up in my cart during my last Asos haul, nor do I know how I functioned pre-Beauty Blender. Great picks!
